The Values of Ladner United Church

• We value being faithful to the Scriptures, worshipping with music and prayer, and listening to discern what God is calling us to be and do.
• We value dealing openly and constructively with dissension, conflict and opposing views.
• We value serving, as people called into ministry by Jesus Christ, not only the needs of our own congregation but also reaching out in mission (outreach) and evangelism to the larger community and world.
• We value being compassionate people.
• We value continued moderate growth and welcoming new people into our faith community.
• We value being inclusive of all ages and people.
• We value being good stewards of the resources God has given us - time, ability, money, people, the earth, and using them wisely and without waste to accomplish our goals.
• We value the pioneer heritage of our church in the community of Ladner, feel pride at its continued existence and accomplishments, and look to God to continue to lead us into the future as a faithful community of Jesus Christ.
• We value the opportunities for Christian community, provided amongst our members through Sunday Worship, bible studies, educational opportunities, service and social events.
